Background Information
The Agglomeration of Gdansk is located in the North of Poland. Agglomeration of Gdansk consists of three cities: Gdansk, Gdynia,
Sopot and Tczew which is little bit far away from the agglomeration. The biggest city is Gdansk, which is almost half a million
population. Gdynia has two hundred and fifty thousand inhabitants. Tczew and Sopot are smaller cities, both have about fifty
thousand inhabitants.
Gdansk is not only a port and industrial city, but also is an old historic city. Gdynia is a young port and industrial city,
whereas Sopot is a spa and typical tourist town. Tczew is a small industrial town.
